The Symbolicizer

The Symbolicizer is a random generator for symbols, symbolism, and dreams.

What's inside it? The guts of The Symbolicizer is Ten Thousand Dreams Interpreted -- more particularly, the Project Gutenberg version. The program randomly picks one of the dream symbols and its interpretation.

What's it for? Mostly it's just a toy -- play around with it. For RPGs, it can be used to generate random MacGuffins, plot twists, prophecies, and that sort of thing.

It's fat and slow! Well, yes. Every entry is crammed into the page, and then client-side JavaScript is used to randomly choose an entry. So it's kinda big and slow to load. Feel free to save a copy to your own local machine and use that.

I'm ready! Where is it? Behold, the Symbolicizer!
